This course focuses on the practical application of Gemini in everyday teaching. Participants will learn how to streamline administrative tasks, generate differentiated instructional materials, create effective assessments and rubrics, and guide students in the ethical use of AI. By the end of the course, educators will have developed a personalized “Digital Teaching Kit” filled with AI-powered resources and workflows ready for immediate classroom implementation.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will…

  • The participant will navigate and utilize core Gemini functions.
  • The participant will apply basic prompt engineering techniques to generate, evaluate, and refine high-quality instructional materials including custom learning materials for diverse student needs.
  • The participant will discuss ways to improve teaching by automating administrative and preparatory workflows and discuss how to use AI ethically.
  • The participant will create an action plan to use after this course which will be your “Digital Teaching Kit”
