Podcasts… you’ve probably heard of them, right? Maybe you’re an active podcast listener? Podcasts are growing in familiarity and listenership, but what types of podcasts are typically consumed? Entertainment? Educational? Historical? Crime/Mystery? Survey says, all types and the listenership is growing!
An estimated 90 million people tune into podcasts each month (Dial, 2019) which means there’s a lot of content out there to discover. Especially in the educational podcast space. In this course, we will dive into some of the podcasts geared towards educators. We will listen to podcasts, discuss podcasts, and do specific action planning around the ideas shared in these podcasts. By the end of this course, you’ll have several new podcasts to listen to and engage with as you continue to grow as a professional in the teaching profession.
