Participants will reflect on selected talks, explore classroom applications, and develop an action plan for implementing new ideas in their teaching practice. This is an online course. TED Talks have become one of the world’s most popular platforms for sharing innovative ideas, inspiring stories, and practical insights across countless topics including education. For educators, TED and TED-Ed offer engaging resources that spark critical thinking, encourage meaningful discussion, and introduce fresh perspectives that can be applied both in and outside the classroom. This course explores how TED Talks can serve as a valuable source of professional learning while also becoming a powerful instructional tool for students.
Throughout the course, participants will view and reflect on a selection of TED Talks focused on education and personal growth, examine ways to incorporate TED content into classroom instruction, and develop strategies for applying new ideas to their own teaching practice. Participants will conclude the course by creating a personalized action plan that translates inspiration into meaningful classroom implementation.
