Course Description:
This course invites educators to engage deeply with Principles to Action: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All, focusing on the effective teaching practices outlined by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). Through structured reflection, collaborative discussions, and classroom-based application, participants will explore the core Mathematics Teaching Practices and Essential Elements that promote equitable, meaningful, and rigorous mathematics instruction. Each module is grounded in real classroom scenarios, thought-provoking questions, and practical strategies that support student thinking, reasoning, and engagement. By the end of the course, participants will develop actionable steps to strengthen their instructional practice and foster mathematical success for all learners.
