Teaching Students with Dyslexia

This course is designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively teach students with dyslexia. Through a comprehensive exploration of the characteristics, assessment, and evidence-based instructional strategies for dyslexia, participants will learn how to create inclusive and supportive learning environments. The course emphasizes the principles of structured literacy, the use of multisensory teaching techniques, and the development of individualized lesson plans. Participants will also gain insights into collaborative approaches with families and specialists, and the use of assistive technology to support learning. By the end of the course, educators will be prepared to implement targeted interventions and monitor student progress to ensure academic success for students with dyslexia.
